Description
The M70 was originally used as the standard-issue infantry rifle of the Yugoslav People’s Army and was officially adopted in 1970 as an upgrade to the aging M59/66. Well-renowned for their reputation, the M70 featured the iconic Yugo-style extended 3-vent handguard as well as the reinforced frame manufactured from thicker steel. The ZPAP designation is an acronym for “Zastava Polu-Automatska Puška” which means “Zastava Semi-Automatic Rifle”, and is the commercial sporting model of the firearm. This model features an underfolding stock along with a 16.5-inch barrel. The wood furniture features a unique Serbian Red style finish. One 30-round magazine is included.
