Description
Taylors and Company replica of the famous C. Mason Revolver 1851 Navy chambered in .38 Special with 5-1/2 barrel. This pistol is a reproduction of the first cap and ball revolvers that had the cap and ball portion of the cylinders cut off and a conversion ring installed and allowed for a cartridge to be inserted in the cylinder. They were called conversion guns and were the beginning of the modern cartridge revolver. This pistol features Brass backstrap and trigger guard, Octagonal barrel, and brass post front sight. Manufactured with forged frame.
