Description
The Schofield model was designed to be operated with one hand while on horseback making it ideal for soldiers in the U.S. Cavalry. The break-open pistols barrel latch opens by pulling it back and has a rear sight notch incorporated into it.
This 38SP model has a 7 barrel, blued metal finish, walnut grip, and a fixed blade front sight.
