The P220® ST is the all-stainless version of the legendary P220 – one of “the most accurate 45s right out of the box.” The added weight of an all-stainless frame provides greater recoil reduction and a quicker return to target between shots.
The part number indicates that it is California Compliant, but buyers from outside California will be happy to note that it does not have a loaded chamber indicator. We also found that if the magazine is removed the hammer will drop when the trigger is pulled so it appears that it is also void of the magazine disconnect feature typically required on CA approved guns. In other words we were unable to differentiate between the 220-45-SSS and the 220-45-SSS-CA so it’s very likely the same gun with a different label.
