Description
Designed purely for target shooting, plinking and small game hunting, the PLR-22 is chambered for the popular and economical .22LR cartridge. Based on the PLR-16 pistol, and sharing many parts including grip and sights, the PLR-22 is not a simple conversion kit, but rather a standalone firearm. This conventional single action operates by blowback action and is enjoyable at home on the range. The receiver and grip are made of an impact-resistant, glass-reinforced Zytel with a metal insert molded into the front of the receiver to accept the barrel and the serial number. The PLR-22 also has an integrated MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail for optics and attachments. The PLR-22 has an elevation-adjustable A2 post front sight and a windage-adjustable buckhorn rear sight. The 10.5 barrel has 1/2-28 muzzle threads to accept standard attachments such as a muzzle brake.
