With a 12.75in length of pull, smaller pistol grip with tighter radius and a thinner forend, the Compact Carbine makes an ideal first deer rifle. Chambered in .223 Remington, this gun is more than capable of taking deer-sized game and delivering little felt recoil compared to many Compact offerings on the market.
